My Sis Came to visit!

Ok, pictures aren't too great, but the wine was really good, lol! My sister and family came for the weekend and even though we forgot to use the camera most of the time, we had a wonderful visit! A horrible movie, Brooklyn's Finest, yuk, "Last Comic Standing," which was funnnnnny stuff, some swimming at Franco's and good food, made the visit noteworthy at least.

Yes, Barry was drinking too, and so was Joey who managed to delete his pictures, shame on him, but if you look closely on the left, you can see his leg, smile....

Courtney was making her "thinking" face"

Cortlan thinks he's something alright, smile

and of course, we can't leave Carson out, silly boy

4th of July!

Robin, Wade and family came over to celebrate 4th of July with us, and it was a great day! We had fun visiting with them.

Logan, who loves to help me get the party ready, helped me make this red, white, and blue dessert......
Logan also loved helping put the treat bags together, I personally, think it was so he could see what he got, lol

cupcakes anyone.....ok, these were pretty much all Logan! Of course, Carson, Cortlan, and Sheldon enjoyed the eating, smile

Poor Cortlan, had to work for most of the day, but you can see him on the computer before he left for Sonic

We finally got some Balloons!

Thank you Granny for going with us to the Hot Air Balloon Festival. We waited all day, but we did get to see some.

Of course while waiting in Alabama, how funny to see Boudreaux's Seafood over there. We enjoyed the grilled shrimp, yum

The weather was not conducive to flying balloons, so we missed out on the show of 45 balloons flying, but at least the kids got to see some blown up, they were huge.

Balloons, Balloons, where are you?

Ok, couldn't resist the mechanical bull. Logan stayed on the longest and made sure that everyone in the group knew it. Crystal, Ethan, Logan, Sheldon, Carson and myself all rode the bull. It was very entertaining.

Still Looking for Hot Air Balloons

Ok, still no balloons, but we did manage to see a dog show! It was really good, but HOT, HOT, and Hotter!

Carson found some bubbles to chase from the clown who was making animal ballooons for the kids

Sheldon got brave and decided to hold a snake. He was soooo proud of himself

We were soooooo hot and the only ac was in a fire safety show, so we headed inside and Carson was enthrawled! He sat still the entire time and listened to what they had to say. He wants to be a fireman when he grows up! Too cute.

Sheldon decided to try the swing too! He was just all over the place, lol

Foley, Alabama (Balloon Festival)?

We drove three hours to experience Hot Air Balloons, but so far, we have seen (an alligator)?

Carson found a bungee swing and had a blast!

Oh, and we had fun on a little train ride too

Early Father's Day

Since Mr. and Mrs. Jay are heading off to travel around the world, they came by to visit for the day last week. Joey found a special Las Vegas shirt for Mr. Jay's gambling adventure......I hope it brings him good luck, lol

Logan turns the big 14! Wow, Time flies

It has become tradition for each child to pick a restaurant to go to for his birthday. Unfortunately, Logan has great taste, lol

Thank you Gran for sharing in Logan's birthday celebration. It made it very special....We ate at Acme Oyster House and Logan's new favorite food, OYSTERS (Notice the chocolate in front of the boys)

Carson seemed to have fun too, he was eating off of everyone's plate.....

Oh, Logan, you are so camera shy, I wonder where you get that from.....smile

After a little wine and beer, the adults were having some fun too

Happy Birthday, son, and thanks for taking the pictures Gran

More Baseball with Gran

Gran came in to try and make at least one game! Sheldon played great and had a great season! He made the play of the game at least twice this season and has greatly improved on his throwing! Oh, and he can bat too and looks great in red, smile

After Sheldon's game, we headed over to Logan's field where unfortunately, we got rained out! Of course, Gran did get to see Logan pitch a couple balls first.....

I know it is hard to beleive, but Carson was running around the bleachers, but stopped momentarily to take a quick pic, thanks son.

Of course, we couldn't have a visit without some baking.......Carson is showing off the batter of some cookies before they were baked.....silly boy

Baseball, Baseball and Baseball

This is one time during the games, I could get Carson to sit still, oh my

When Sheldon is playing his game, he is on the field helping the Dodgers, Logan's team, practice...

Very interesting year for Logan. I am so proud of his baseball ability. He started off catching this year and then ended up pitching, catching and first baseman.......this boy played hard and great!

Ok, the coaches are collaborating on what the heck to do when players aren't showing up! Go Dad, you tell those boys what to do......Joey did a great job coaching Logan's team

Logan preparing to catch

Carson's graduation

Carson was soooo cute at his graduation ceremony at school. This is his teacher Ms. Debbie after the ceremony.

Ok, Carson really should go into performing because he was great with his songs and dancing.

Unfortunately, baseball kept most of the family away, but have no fear, Cortlan was there to video and cheer Carson on!

Car trouble brings family together!

I know, it is sad, but a need of an alternator brought my brother and family to my house!

Poor Wade was working hard on the car and my boys, along with neighborhood boys were working hard on playing basketball, not fair, huh....

Don't worry, Luke was busy too, he was holding the chair in place!

Maddison was like, I am not going for all this work, I am going to take a ride

This is a view of Wade that unfortunately, I have seen too many times, lol......I love my brother sooooo much and appreciate all he has done for me!

Well, I couldn't let this opportunity go by while everyone was over, so a little steak dinner and birthday celebration was in order for Robin's birthday
