Cortlan Wrestling

Cortlan moved to a new high school (Lakeshore High in Lacombe) and decided that he would try the wrestling team (or wrastling for you Texas folk). He had his first two matches and unfortunately lost both. But he scored points in each which isn't bad for his first time out.

Logan was not too impressed with the outfits the wrestling team had to wear. This was his reaction to the the skin tights. LOL

It was both fun and smelly and we are looking forward to more matches in the next few months. I will use a real camera next tournament and get some better pictures. Wish Cortlan some luck!

The next day we decided to visit Chucky. $60 later I think that we had a pretty good time.

Ok, I leave for two days for a baby shower, come home and my youngest is the new addition to the computer craze at my house! He enjoys playing Nick, Jr. and he is good at it. Carson is growing up so much and I don't like it. It is bad enough that he looks older than four according to so many, but he is acting older too! Time flies with these boys and I am not looking forward to kindergarten next year....

The last night before Granny leaves. Man, our days were filled with game playing and our nights too! This woman doesn't believe in sleep....lol The kids have had a great time and it is great to see her!

A Day at Blue Bayou! Granny took us to the park for the day! We had a lot of fun!

Happy Birthday to You!

Wow! Carson is already 4 years old!

He was sooo excited about his birthday. He started by bringing cupcakes and goodies to his friends at school and then came home to find us waiting with cake, balloons and presents! An extra special surprise was having Granny here to celebrate with him.

All Good Things Must Come to An End!

Well, Joey flew out last Monday to go to Houston for the week so I took Mom, Chandler and Blayton home. We had a good time this week, but every good thing must end! The kids enjoyed the area and yesterday we ended our trip with Ice Age 3...I do believe they loved it since there was not a peep during it.

Chandler caught two fish in my back yard, a bass and something else, which Mom(Gran) gladly fried up for him.

This is what we spent evenings doing. We made this homeade Custard which Mom(Gran) couldn't keep her hands off. We also made banana bread and a cherry pie. If that wasn't enough, Gran visited the local Market and picked up peaches, nectarines and watermelon which the kids devoured. I would say no-one went undernurished.....

Day Two of our Visit

We had a good time taking the kids to Francos for a little relaxation and sun, but after only an hour, they closed the pool due to lightning................oh well, we will try again tomorrow! So, we came home and made hotdogs, nachos and then Logan assisted Gran in making some custard!
